Planning

At the beginning of the planning sessions, we decided to locate our music video mainly at a club in clitheroe. However, we are now going to film it at a house party instead as we believe this would create a more real image of young adults when a party takes place and the antics that happen also, instead of using extras to act out typical scenes. However, we are still going to use the other original ideas, such as the two different point of views and split screen, and also the same location (my house) for the beginning and the end.

The party will appeal to our target audience, being young indie kids, as it is filmed at a party which many indies enjoy attending therefore it is realistic, and it also involves characters who are youths. The video involves alcohol, which again appeals to the indie audience as youths stereotypically enjoy drinking and partying.

Our filming schedule so far is as follows:

Monday 7th December - 4pm at my house. During this session we are going to film the beginning of the video, and if we have time the ending as well.

Saturday 12th December - the house party. Here we will film the middle part of the video and get many different shots to use.

Any other dates are yet to be confirmed.
